What is Melbourne JoomlaDay?

Joomla! is the world’s largest and fastest growing Open Source toolset for managing and enhancing websites. Melbourne JoomlaDay on 12-14 Feb 2010 at Melbourne University is the annual conference for the Victorian Joomla! community. 
Melbourne JoomlaDay is an exciting three days event for designers, programmers, expert speakers, trainers and end users. The program includes lectures, training and workshops. This year’s workshops with Andrew Eddie and Sam Moffatt, Lead Developers for Joomla! worldwide, will be a highlight.

Attendance at Melbourne JoomlaDay has climbed dramatically every year and the first year sold out early. Support from sponsors will be used to offset costs including hiring larger venues and reimbursing advance costs such as airfares for globally recognized speakers. Many people have already asked about a straight donation to support JoomlaDay.
